The third movie in the Herbie series, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo was released in 1977. Original Herbie star Dean Jones is joined by and Disney stalwart Don Knotts as wrench-wearing, golly-shouting sidekick Wheely Applegate. Thieves have hidden a huge stolen diamond in Herbie's tank during the Paris-Monte Carlo race, Herbie has fallen in love with a beautiful Lancia Scorpion, suave mustachio-ed Germans pilot hurtle Ferraris around the twisties -- why, this movie has everything, if by "everything" you mean stylish jumpsuits, kit-built racecars, and scrupulously wholesome jokes. But the cars! Just check out all the stylish Seventies iron in this movie!
Universal Technical Institute
UTI is a big (and by "big", I mean that their building is a quarter-mile long) automotive and technical school in Exton, where route 100 crosses the turnpike. Young folks go there to become certified diesel mechanics, and (of course) take advanced classes to instill cars with plucky anthropomorphic personalities.
